The Short Version

IntroCard has no account, no sign-up, no analytics of its own, no advertising, and no servers. Everything the app does — creating your card, generating QR codes and Wallet passes, and reading the business cards you scan — happens on your device. We do not collect, receive, sell, or share any of your data, because none of it ever reaches us.

Information You Enter

To build your card, you enter details such as your name, job title, company, contact details, social profile links, a tagline, a portrait photo, and an optional company logo. This information is stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud storage. It is used solely to create your card, QR code, Apple Wallet pass, and printable card image, and it is shared only when you choose to share your card.

Cards You Scan

When you scan a physical business card with the camera or import a photo of one, the image is processed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition. The extracted details, the card image, and any notes or photos you attach are stored on your device and in your personal iCloud. Nothing you scan is uploaded to us or to any third party. When you export a scanned card to your iPhone Contacts, you confirm the save yourself in the system contact screen.

Camera and Photo Access

IntroCard asks for camera access only to scan physical business cards, and for photo library access only when you choose photos yourself through the system photo picker. The app never browses your photo library.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, your cards and scanned contacts are stored in the app's private container in your personal iCloud account, so they sync across your devices. This data is governed by your Apple account; we have no access to it. If iCloud is unavailable, everything stays local to your device.

Analytics and Diagnostics

IntroCard contains no analytics or tracking code. Apple may provide developers with anonymous, aggregated crash reports and App Store statistics if you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers in your device settings. This information does not personally identify you.

Third-Party Services

The app uses only Apple platform services required for normal operation (such as iCloud, Apple Wallet, and on-device text recognition). This website is a static site that requires no account and sets no tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy

IntroCard does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
