FAQ
Does IntroCard require an account?
No. There is no account, no sign-up, and no tracking. Everything works on your device.
How does someone save my contact details?
Your card includes a vCard QR code. Anyone can scan it with their phone camera to save your contact information. They do not need the app.
How do I add my card to Apple Wallet?
Open your card and choose Add to Apple Wallet. Your card is then a double-click away, right from your lock screen. Tap the ••• button on the pass to see all your details on the back.
Can I scan the paper business cards people give me?
Yes. Scan them with the camera or import photos of cards you have already taken — you can select many photos at once and import a whole stack in one go. The app reads the name, title, company, phones, emails, and address entirely on your phone.
Can I save a scanned card to my iPhone Contacts?
Yes. Open any received card and tap Add to iPhone Contacts. The system New Contact screen opens with the details pre-filled, and you confirm the save yourself.
Can I add notes or photos to a card I received?
Yes. Every received card can hold notes (where you met, follow-ups) and photo attachments.
Does IntroCard track my location?
No. If you allow location access, the only thing IntroCard does is remember where you scanned a card, so you can see everyone on the Card Map and search by place. It works entirely on your phone, the location stays with the card on your device and in your personal iCloud, and you can remove it from any card. The app works fully without location access.
How do I find a card again later?
Search your received cards by name, company, notes, or place, or open the Card Map and browse by where you met people.
Can I have more than one card?
Yes. Keep separate cards for work, side projects, or a cause you love, and switch between them anytime.
Can I order physical business cards?
Yes. IntroCard generates a print-ready card image with your details on one side and your QR code on the other, which you can send to any printing service.
Do my cards sync between devices?
Yes. If you are signed in to iCloud, your cards and scanned contacts are stored in your personal iCloud and sync across your devices automatically.
